Success in Nursing

Confidence & intellectual humility, continuously, are the ingredients of a successful nurse. oh, plus nursing education.
In a field where people of all traits from fetuses to the dead trust you with their time, bodies, lives, children, most private information and so on. Your self-belief & clinical judgement ought to be concrete.
Yet there is nothing like a successful nurse per se. Being successful in nursing, I have realised, is an incessant endeavour. To be a better nurse every day. By acknowledging you do not know it all. Strive to be intellectually humble. Get curious about the ever-changing nursing field and crave more so that you can have a better impact as a professional.
That, against the common belief that a successful nurse is one who earns a load of money abroad, is a successful nurse!
